hmmmm

i don't want to take the biochem gre on saturday. i want to watch the first season of the joe schmo show instead of studying.

so instead i played with my schedule for next semester. note that i'm taing the lab course, not taking it. and one or more of those classes will not exist. and advanced genetics is probably going to move to 3pm on thursdays. and if it doesn't then i'm not taking the music class. and if i can get a chem minor just by taking the intro to quantum chem class instead of intro to green chemistry, then i'm not taking green chemistry. because i don't really care about that class. and if stupid hackney is the only professor teaching advanced biochem then i'm not taking that. so really all i'm definitely doing next semester is honors research, taing biochem lab, and taking advanced genetics and maybe quantum chem. oh the joys of being a senior and spending all my time in the lab playing with my yeast mutants.

by the way, three out of seven of my yeast mutants passed the next stage of experiments so i get to have them sequenced this week to find out where exactly the mutation(s) is (are). and that will be very very exciting because i will have accomplished something worthwhile, assuming all goes well.

not doing sns for the rest of this semseter has made my life so much less stressful. i think i'm not going to be involved in february either.

i get to co-direct and act in the bio sac murder mystery dinner this year, which will be awesome. to bad no one can come see it except for bio majors. oh well.
