thursday evening

i'm bored between rehearsals for things tonight. it's kind of weird to say: neither rehearsal is for something related in any way, shape, or form to scotch'n'soda.

anyway, the bio/chem cluster in doherty is nice and empty. i have another 30 minutes until the start of rehearsal for the biosac murder mystery dinner. i'm still really excited about that. we had a read-through yesterday, and although there were a few people missing and a few moments of lost focus, things seem to be going pretty well. i'm happy about the way that people read, and i'm excited to start blocking tonight. it's insane that the show is in only 18 days and we haven't even started blocking at all. oh well, it will still be awesome.

i don't know what else.

my new computer came and it is all pretty and fancy-schmancy. i like it. it even plays dvds! and now i have over 2000 songs on my ipod. music is happy.

fluffies are also happy.

i have homework already, but none of it is due until next week. so that's good.

i've been hanging out a lot on morewood 4cd. not really on purpose, but i keep ending up there because gerrit's there. it's not a bad thing because the kids are all cool and fun. and i get to interact with more people than i do in webster because i only ever interact with gerrit and fluffies (and sometimes alex and tyson) in webster, but no one else. i should remember one of these days to walk upstairs and get my goggles back from hae na and dana. someday that will happen.

the apartment remains all nice and clean and awesome, even though i haven't been there very often this week. i'm excited for the fondue party tomorrow. it will be awesome. and everyone should come, even if i didn't invite them directly because i sometimes suck. everyone who is friendly and nice is welcome to come. i did jokingly say to someone in morewood the other day that if people are mean to me or to each other then i'm throwing them out onto the "balcony." that might happen if my room gets too crowded, too. but probably not.

at any rate, life is generally good. classes are good so far; it's not going to be a terribly difficult semester. friends are good, even if a little different than i would have expected a few months ago. grad schools like me, which is very good. at least when i graduate i'll have someplace to go next fall. it will be weird to leave.

blah blah blah blah. i'm just killing time now. nothing more to type that's worthwhile.

fluffies are awesome!! you should go hug some because that makes everyone happy.

and come eat fondue tomorrow at 10:30.

my top five broadway musicals

in no real order:

1. jekyll and hyde
2. city of angels
3. the last five years
4. crazy for you
5. me and my girl

that last one could really be interchanged with a bunch of different classic broadway shows like anything goes or how to succeed..., but i like that one too.

i no longer have a computer since my old one was drowned. someone spilled something on it at my dinner party and it died. dead forever. never restarted. never coming back. so thank you whoever spilled, poopface.

in other news, my parents bought me a new computer as a graduation present. so all is not terrible. unfortunately, it's not being shipped until the end of this week, so i'm currently updating from a cluster. sad.
