i'm a happy person

even if no one else seems to be.

my classes are pretty cool for once and i actually understand what's going on in most of them. life's going to get real busy soon... i'm excited.

first night back

i'll be in pittsburgh in my new, awesome apartment with all the cool people that are there now! woohoo!

countdown to cmu: 4 days

today was the day of errands: dentist, orthodontist, dmv, etc.

the beach was fun last weekend. i got a sort of tan and apples to apples which will be so much fun to play at school.

started packing very slowly since i have so much time... now that's exciting.

this week is going to be long and slow.

my little brother left for school today. he's going to rpi. but he's letting me take his playstation to school so there'll be tons of ddr to play!

i think that's all for the update of my life.

only one more week of work.

and at least it was a good weekend. pirates of the caribbean, a pirate-themed birthday party with apples to apples and curses, and making dinner with friends.

the science fair yesterday was not very exciting. i guess i was lucky though, that my mentor gave me a project that i got to pretty much design by myself. they were like, "here's some clumped up protein. go refold it." and so i tried. a lot of the other interns just followed instructions for projects that had already been planned out. and they want me to continue working on this during school too. don't know when i'm going to be able to find time to do that but it would be nice for the money.... so i can eat and stuff.

i need to get back to campus, not classes, just campus.

Science Fair Day!


so here i am at work bored out of my mind yet again. after reading everyone else's blogs for an hour or so, i've decided to create my own. i won't keep up with it when i'm back at school in two weeks but that's ok.

so today is the big "poster session".... science fair for the summer intern projects at scherring-plough. what fun. at least my poster is pretty. and hopefully they'll have some good food or something. we shall see.
